Want to be a bit cooler on Zoom? (Well, Teams too to be honest!)
Your audience judges you by how you come across (sorry about that) and with us using online stuff much more now that means they judge you by your tech competence too! On top of that, if you’re only as cool online as everyone else, how are you going to stand out?
… that means you need to up your Zoom game.
This is a short (30 minutes) session for us to give you the cool Zoom tricks you need, along with a little time to practice them. It can be done on your own, but I recommend you share the booking with a friend so that all the tools work best. And besides, how lovely will you look giving a friend some free training!?
What do I have to do?
Use the link at the bottom of this page to book a time. When the confirmation email comes through, share it with a friend if you want to. Then just turn up on the day – I’m often booked back to back, so please don’t be late as I can’t promise to go past your allocated time.
What am I going to need?
Zoom, obviously!

Before the session, make sure you have the latest version of Zoom on your computer. Zoom updates often and all you need to do to update is try to use it. If there’s an update, it’ll tell you and ask if you want to instal it.
It’s best if you can wear headphones, too.
If you’re the kind of person who has to (or wants to!) make any kind of presentation, make sure that you’ve got your slides to hand. Remember that if you’re using the Office365 suite in particular it can take a long time to download-and-load slides. If you’re in any doubt it might be useful to make a short, simple slide deck with only a few slides in it, for convenience.
Oh, and if there’s anything in particular you want to learn how to do, have a few minutes thinking first. (Remember this is mainly a Zoom session – if you want in-depth help with PowerPoint that’s not what we’ll concentrate on here, although no doubt some tips will crop up.)

Will it be recorded?
You can record it if you like, to use as revision material. If you’re not sure how to do that, consider it one of the things we’ll explore in the session. My only stipulation is that you cannot share the recording. In fact I recommend recording it. We might have only a limited time for you to do things in our session together so if you’re recording it we can do it successfully once and then you’ll have the recording to remind you of things later.
How much does it cost?

£42. And to save you asking, no, there are no concessions, ‘cos that’s already the ONLE-reduced-price!
Is there a catch?
I honestly can’t think of one.
Are there any extras thrown in?
Blimey, you want the moon on a stick? 😉 But yes. You probably already have it, but if not, you can download a short ebook called “Cooler Zoomer” here.
Ready to book?
Go ahead …the link beside (or below if you’re on a phone) should do all the work by magic.
